War Horse D.L.O

 Hello people today in class we are doing novel studies I have done a D.L.O in this D.L.O I answered some questions then put some facts about War Horse I am up to chapter 9 but these are from 3-4 in my next D.L.O I will have some about 7-9.

The people that play the horse are called-Steven Spielberg,Paris,Tom Hiddleston,Jeremy Irvine

Novel Study War Horse

 Hello people today in class we are answering questions on the book we chose from the teacher I have chosen war horse in this book it is about a young colt that was taken from his mum at an auction then he was brought by a group of men.After that he grew in a feild then taken to world war one then he expense both sides of the war.

The imprison that i get from the cover of this book is 3 horse with men of there back riding off to war with dirt then the bright light with all of the excrement they have over there body and the horse.

In the back of the blurb it goes about joey the horse seeing the grey solider ahead of him and hear the rattling of machine guns joey tells a trustful friendship surviving in terrible times and knowing the power of war and the beauty of peace.

The author is Michael Morpurgo and this story is an award winning story and movie,Michael Morpurgo was born in ST Albans untied states 1943.

The war horse is aiming more to be non fiction because horse were used in that time to get around faster and more efficient.

Today in class we have been working on shops to sell our stuff we made for market day.We have roles in our group with them we have to do what in that role,in my group we are making earrings with wood that is scarps from the Tex room.

After we are cut the shapes we are going to paint them to make them look cool there are all different shapes that we made some are charters from shows and some are easy shapes. our business name is Wackey Wears.

Hello fellow people and welcome back to my blog.

In class we have been doing communication we went out on the field and did sending/receiving in my group we did the flashing and had a list of the letters on a paper then they would come back and see if they get it wrong what did't work was the first word. With the first word she got it wrong so we did another word then she got is what works was going up then down to do a long pause.

I think what I can do better next time is make sure she is looking at what I am doing so she know the next letter

Learning Story

Hello fellow people and welcome back to my blog.

Today in class we are blogging about our learning story or finishing them off I am blogging about mine because I done it last time we had arts in this subject we were learning about the arts and poems they would be split up so we have even amount of time to be able to do all the work.
At the end of the time we would put all of our work together then put them up in the art place were we have all our work we have one thought out the hole term. we did all of the work off of books

My Learning Story
Hurumanu: Poetic arts
Name: Mikayla	Teachers: Bh Ds Ht			Term 2	2020
Reflection: Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:  We did watercolour using blend, salt, drip and splat. When we did the tapa cloth we used ink to add contrast to it. The diamante poem. We had to go off of the book we were reading, The Rakaia Gorge.
What I Learned:   I have learned that the Rakaia Gorge was roamed by the Taniwha. That there are more than one kind of poem and how to do a couple of them. When writing a poem the word doesn't always need to flow together, they should sound like they do, but not always look like it.
My Favourite Part: Was using the water colours and being able to create my own designs on the paper. Writing a diamante poem is something that I have never done in my whole life. I loved being able to use watercolours.
My Next Steps: I need to try harder to be able to weave because I didn't get any of that done. To finish my work faster and not talk and take my time. To make sure that I blog all my work.

Commitment In some of the poems and paintings I got right into it so I am able to get all of it done.		Achievement I got all of my work done in H4 except my weaving. It is more than I would have thought I would do.
Resilience When it gets hard I would say I'm not doing this then I would think that I have two amazing teachers that are willing to help me.		Respect I have treated all the equipment the way I should and the teachers the same way I would want to be treated.
Any other comments I really enjoyed this H4 and I would do it again.
