Game time

Hello people,

In class we are playing games against some of the class mates. to see what interpersonal skill will be used for them. The aim of this is to use a verity of skills then figuring out what ones we use

If I could do the games I wouldn't want to re  do it I had really fun with my group even tho they won most of them it was great to work with them

What IP skill did you show/use today?did you use any warm fuzzes?

The interpersonal skills i used were communication asking if they would spin the spiny thing in twister.I said some warm fuzzes telling good job.

There was a good amount of success  with the group we  all got along very well. Following the rules.We also we were not arguing or exuding people.

I think the we were a level 3/4 in the Helisons behaviour model.We were focused on the game not talking.Paying attentions to what we had to do.

Filtering

Hello people,

Today in class we are looking at filtering thing out after putting them in with it.filtering is separating thing based on the size. Were going mix the two liquids then try to separate them again. Can all mixtures be filter no they cant if they are the same size partials. 

Make solution  aim is to separate the solution 

What do I think will happen is that it will be able to filter though and will stay the colour blue still.

Method: 

1. Pour approximately 50mL of copper sulfate solution into a beaker.

2. Add the same volume of sodium carbonate solution. A reaction will happen, you should see a cloudy blue precipitate form. Called copper carbonate. 

3. Watch demo then fold filter paper to fit inside the funnel

4. Place the funnel with the filter paper inside of it, into the mouth of a conical flask. 

5. Stir the mixture in the beaker, then carefully pour it into the funnel. 

6. Observe what happened.


Equipment:

Sodium carbonate


Copper sulfate


Conical flask


Stirring Rod


200mL Beaker


Funnel


Filter paper


While watching it filter out it lost it colour the blue stayed in the filter paper.the blue became more dark and cloudy. The blue stayed in the filter because it a solid and the filter got hold of it.

Learning Story

Hello fellow people and welcome back to my blog.

Today in class we are blogging about our learning story or finishing them off I am blogging about mine because I done it last time we had arts in this subject we were learning about the arts and poems they would be split up so we have even amount of time to be able to do all the work.
At the end of the time we would put all of our work together then put them up in the art place were we have all our work we have one thought out the hole term. we did all of the work off of books

My Learning Story
Hurumanu: Poetic arts

Reflection:
Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did: 
  • We did watercolour using blend, salt, drip and splat.
  • When we did the tapa cloth we used ink to add contrast to it.
  • The diamante poem. We had to go off of the book we were reading, The Rakaia Gorge.
What I Learned: 
  •  I have learned that the Rakaia Gorge was roamed by the Taniwha.
  • That there are more than one kind of poem and how to do a couple of them.
  • When writing a poem the word doesn't always need to flow together, they should sound like they do, but not always look like it.
My Favourite Part:
  • Was using the water colours and being able to create my own designs on the paper.
  • Writing a diamante poem is something that I have never done in my whole life.
  • I loved being able to use watercolours.
My Next Steps:
  • I need to try harder to be able to weave because I didn't get any of that done.
  • To finish my work faster and not talk and take my time.
  • To make sure that I blog all my work.

Commitment
In some of the poems and paintings I got right into it so I am able to get all of it done.
Achievement
I got all of my work done in H4 except my weaving. It is more than I would have thought I would do.

When it gets hard I would say I'm not doing this then I would think that I have two amazing teachers that are willing to help me.
Respect
I have treated all the equipment the way I should and the teachers the same way I would want to be treated.
Any other comments
I really enjoyed this H4 and I would do it again.
