Balloon chemistry.

Aim: To see which chemical mix creates the most gas.

Hypothesis: I think the the balloon will blow up not to big not ti small

Materials:

1.bottles 

2.balloons

3.soda water

4.  baking soda

5. vinegar 

6. salt

steps:

1.get a bottle 

2.get balloon 

3.get vinegar add with baking soda.

4.get salt with soda water.

5.put the dry indigent in the balloon with a fanle  

6. put the wet ones in the bottom of the bottle

the first one did work but the second one did not want to blow up that good as the other one.

100 word challenge.

Today we were making 100 word challenge and I am finish and the topic was about but it was the wrong colour.

“Honey get up you’ll be late for school, you have that test coming up.”

“OK here I am what is for breakfast?”

Aim: To learn the names of 10 household chemicals, their elements, and reactions with other substances.

Equipment:

task 1: put the chemicals in a chart with the titles name chemicals ingredient(s), image, solid/liquid/Gas.

Skittles rainbow

 Today we have made rainbow paper.

Aim: To separate colours by using the process of chromatography.

Materials

1. a bottom of a cup 

2. skittles

3.water

4.add it all together.

Process:

Step:1 Get some thing that will hold water and settles in.

Step:2 Put the settles in line around the edge of the bottom of the cup

Step:3  Pour the water in and watch as it comes to life

Step:4 After you have done it then you can eat the settles.

Conclusion: 
What have I learnt from this experiment that we learnt that water can make a cool strip that you can use for a book mark or what and make a really cool rainbow of coolness.

Rainbow Paper

 Today we have made rainbow paper.

Aim: To separate colours by using the process of chromatography.

Materials:

1. filter paper 

2. water based pens

3.ruler

4.water

5.cup

Process:

Step:1 get ruler,two pens,strip of paper,cup,water 

Step:2 rule the paper and make sure it is a cm and draw two dot on the end of the paper 

Step:3 then put the srip of paper in the cup with the pen on 

Step:4 put some water not much not too less

Step:5 watch  the pen come up and then be amazed 

Step:6 you can dry it out and use it for any thing.

Conclusion: 

What have I learnt from this experiment that when you put water based pen on filter paper and I never thought that would happen I would just think that it would dye the water.

The kea

Today we made the rest for the kea and it is nearly finished and now we need to paint today is the last day of C.I.P. we made a kea because they are native animals to New Zealand. And the rubbish we pick up in the park we put it on the

I was not here when the class went to pick up the rubbish in the park that is called kale park. 

we made a different inculpate to the world by picking up the rubbish in the park we got 3 bag of it.

I did not like this because all the stuff I did my group never listened
